Premium Mohair Sock Yarn

£24.50

Premium mohair sock is a limited edition of one off individual skeins. It is a buttery soft 4ply yarn spun from 65% Superwash Merino, 20% Nylon and 15% Kid Mohair ensuring an optimal squish. Each skein is 100g and measures approximately 425m (465 yards) and is suitable for those finer projects such as socks, shawls, gloves, boleros etc. It is a superwash so a gentle machine wash is an option, although with any hand dyed yarn a hand wash is recommended, dry flat and please don't tumble dry. Please Note: My philosophy and therefore the techniques I use for dyeing my yarns are such that no two skeins are identical, each have their own unique personality. When using two or more yarns from the same colourway I would recommend knitting a few rows from the first skein and continuing with a few rows from the second skein and so on, this will ensure an even mix of colours and continuity throughout the project.

Falklands/Corriedale Super Chunky

£22.00

An amazingly soft single ply Super Chunky in 100% pure Falklands wool, hand dyed by David. The skein weighs 200 grams and is approximately 130 metres. Tension is 3 stiches / 3 rows per inch and is knitted on 10mm to 12 mm needles. Please be aware this yarn is not a superwash and therefore requires hand washing at 30 deg, dry flat and please do not tumble dry. As with all of David's yarns "No Skein is the Same" as a result if you are working on a project using two or more skeins then the advice would be to knit/crochet a couple of rows/chains then alternate with the second skein to ensure continuity of colour throughout the project. Very occassionally you may find small patches of lighter yarn as a result of the dying process used, this is entirely normal.
