Petite Pastels

£16.00

Petite Pastels is an exclusive range of luxury complimenting hand dyed yarns by David. The range focuses on a hand dyed featherweight Kid Silk with a coordinated DK Pure Merino or 4ply Pure Merino Single. Each of the three yarns can be used for separate projects or the Kid Silk can be added to the Merino to add an extra fluffy texture to your DK or 4ply project, resulting in an amazingly soft finish.

Falklands/Corriedale Super Chunky

£22.00

An amazingly soft single ply Super Chunky in 100% pure Falklands wool, hand dyed by David. The skein weighs 200 grams and is approximately 130 metres. Tension is 3 stiches / 3 rows per inch and is knitted on 10mm to 12 mm needles. Please be aware this yarn is not a superwash and therefore requires hand washing at 30 deg, dry flat and please do not tumble dry. As with all of David's yarns "No Skein is the Same" as a result if you are working on a project using two or more skeins then the advice would be to knit/crochet a couple of rows/chains then alternate with the second skein to ensure continuity of colour throughout the project. Very occassionally you may find small patches of lighter yarn as a result of the dying process used, this is entirely normal.

Weardale Wonders In Yak - Limited Edition

£22.50

Weardale Wonders In Yak is a limited edition of one off individual skeins. It is a luxury soft 4ply yarn spun in Peru from 65% Superwash Merino, 20% Nylon & 15% Yak. Each skein is 100g and measures approximately 425m (469 yards) and is suitable for socks and  those finer projects such as shawls, gloves, boleros etc. It is a superwash so a gentle wool wash is an option however as with any hand dyed yarn I would recommend a gentle hand wash using a wool detergent, dry flat and please don't tumble dry or wring/twist.

Donegal 4ply

£17.50

A fantastically soft 4ply yarn consisting of 87% wool 13% Donegal Viscose. Each skein is 100g measuring 400m and is ideal for socks, hats, scarves, shawls etc. It is not a Superwash yarn and as such requires a cool hand wash, dry flat and please do not tumble dry. Please Note: My philosophy and therefore the techniques I use for dyeing my yarns are such that no two skeins are identical, each have their own unique personality. When using two or more yarns from the same colourway I would recommend knitting a few rows from the first skein and continuing with a few rows from the second skein and so on, this will ensure an even mix of colours and continuity throughout the project.
