Weardale Wonders In Yak - Woodland Walk No1
Weardale Wonders In Yak is a limited edition of one off individual skeins. It is a luxury soft 4ply yarn spun in Peru from 65% Superwash Merino, 20% Nylon & 15% Yak. Each skein is 100g and measures approximately 425m (469 yards) and is suitable for socks and those finer projects such as shawls, gloves, boleros etc. It is a superwash so a gentle wool wash is an option however as with any hand dyed yarn I would recommend a gentle hand wash using a wool detergent, dry flat and please don't tumble dry or wring/twist. Please Note: My philosophy and therefore the techniques I use for dyeing my yarns are such that no two skeins are identical, each have their own unique personality. When using two or more yarns from the same colourway I would recommend knitting a few rows from the first skein and continuing with a few rows from the second skein and so on, this will ensure an even mix of colours and continuity throughout the project.
